Oklahoma's Tallgrass Prairie

ConeFlower Hill is a small unassuming little hill located about 500 yeards from the gravel road that meanders through the preserve.  On the north and western flanks you can find a large field of several varieties of coneflowers including these Pale Purple varieties.

Sometimes I just sit and listen to the wind as it sings it song and dnaces across the prairie setting into motion the tallgrass that sways to its rythm...krb
