Oklahoma's Tallgrass Prairie
The Flint Hills Region of Kansas and Oklahoma is the last place where large scale tallgrass prairie and horizon to horizon vistas are possible of this nearly extinct eco-system. This scene stretched over the rise along the flanks of 'Coneflower Hill'. It is then my heart and my thoughts drift affectionately to why I am there suspended toward that rendezvous of time and place.
