Oklahoma's Tallgrass Prairie

Clouded Sulfur on Pale Purple Conflower

About The Image

The Sensitive Briar is one of the most unique blooms on the prairie.  It's bright pink stamens almost glow when the light strikes them just right.  They get their name from how the leaves tend to fold up at the slightest touch.
