Oklahoma's Tallgrass Prairie Preserve is one of natures most unique settings and remains unchanged in its original state, never plowed, with magnificent vistas. This 35,000 acre preserve is the largest remnant of what once stretched from Texas to the Dakota's. Home now to free ranging American Bison, deer, and original prairie grasses in their natural state, it is a must see place whenever I visit my former home. Late May or early June will find the prairie in full bloom.
