Beauty such as it has to offer is found all too rarely and the experience it provides transcends the imagination. It is a place to rest the soul and it is good for one to find such a moment in such a place...krb 
Arkansas' Buffalo River provides one of those great places to get away for a near wilderness experience. Simply said...it is beautiful. My good friend and hunting and fishing partner and I have travel the Buffalo's waters many times. There is no better place to take an extended float/camping trip. On this trip, the lighting conditions were not the best I could have hoped for as a high thin haze tended to create a white sky. Even so, just enough clearing occured to allow for some good opportunities.
